Chaika - The Coffin Princess Listed With 5 50-Minute Blu-ray Discs

The official website for the Chaika the Coffin Princess television anime announced details of the the Hitsugi no Chaika Avenging Battle's planned Blu-ray Disc and DVD releases on Friday. The first volume will ship on December 26 with the anime's first two 25-minute episodes, and four more monthly volumes will ship between January and April. The website does not list the number of episodes on the last four volumes, but Amazon lists each of the volumes as 50 minutes long.
The first Blu-ray Disc will cost will cost 7,600 yen (about US$70) and include a special box, the "Chaika e 50 no Shitsumon" (50 Questions for Chaika) video, sticker, case, jacket with special illustration, leaflet, picture label, and credit-less opening video. The first limited-edition DVD volume will include the same bonuses as the Blu-ray Disc release and cost 6,600 yen (US$61). The regular DVD release will only include the special jacket and credit-less opening and retail at 5,600 yen (US$51).
Hitsugi no Chaika Avenging Battle will premiere on television in Japan on October 8.
