Haikyu!! Manga Gets 'Big Announcement' on March 19

This year's 15th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Haruichi Furudate's Haikyu!! manga will have a "super big announcement" in the magazine's next issue, which Shueisha will publish on March 19. The manga is celebrating its four-year anniversary with the issue, and the issue will an opening color page for the manga.

Viz Media will publish the manga in North America beginning in July, and describes the manga as follows:

Ever since he saw the legendary player known as the "Little Giant" compete at the national volleyball finals, Shoyo Hinata has aimed to be the best volleyball player ever! He decides to join the team at the high school the Little Giant went to – and then surpass him. Who says you need to be tall to play volleyball when you can jump higher than anyone else?

Shueisha published the manga's 20th compiled book volume in Japan on March 4.

The first season of the anime adaptation of Haruichi Furudate's volleyball manga premiered in April 2014. Sentai Filmworks has licensed and released the series on home video in North America. Crunchyroll streamed the the first season as it aired, and is streaming the ongoing second season as it airs in Japan.

The anime franchise received two compilation anime films last July and September.
