Cutie Honey -Tears- Live-Action Film's Visual Unveiled

The official website of Cutie Honey -Tears-, the new live-action film adaptation of Gō Nagai's Cutie Honey manga, unveiled a new poster visual for the film on Friday. The poster features Mariya Nishiuchi (live-action Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo, Switch Girl!!) as the titular Cutie Honey, and has the text "Awaken! Cutie Honey."
The site previously streamed a teaser trailer for the film last month. The film opens in Japan on October 1.
Asai Takeshi (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex opening) is directing the film and Shirogumi Inc.'s Ryo Higuchi is the VFX director. The film's near-future setting will be created with computer graphics.
