Ultraman USA Anime Film Gets BD Release in Japan with English Dub

Tsuburaya Productions announced on Thursday that it will release the Ultraman USA (Ultraman: The Adventure Begins) animated film on Blu-ray Disc in Japan with the English dub on September 26.

Ultraman USA is an animated film collaboration between Tsuburaya Productions and Hanna-Barbera Productions based on Tsuburaya Productions' Ultraman tokusatsu franchise. The film debuted in 1987. The new Blu-ray Disc release includes digital high-resolution copies of the original 35mm negatives for the film, not available in Japan since the film's LaserDisc release in 1991. The release will also include a digital image gallery, and footage from the "Ultraman Kids" intermission from the "Ultraman Festival" event.
