The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. 'Conclusion' Anime Unveils Visual

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

The staff for the "concluding" anime for Shūichi Asō's The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan) manga revealed a visual for the project on Monday. The staff also noted that Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will reveal more information about the anime in October.

The tagline on the visual reads, "Finally, a conclusion…?"

The franchise will also have an event featuring the anime's voice cast at Tokyo's Belle Salle Takadanobaba venue on December 1.

The final episode of the second season teased a sequel for the anime.

The original manga centers on a high school boy named Kusuo Saiki. He possesses supernatural powers that cause unfortunate events in his everyday life.

The first season of anime shorts premiered in July 2016. Funimation streamed the anime series under the title The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. with English subtitles as it aired in Japan, and also streamed an English broadcast dub for the series. The second anime season premiered in January, and ended in June.

The manga also inspired a live-action film that opened in Japan last October, and the Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan: Bōsō Bōsō! Psychic Battle app that launched with an original story on April 16.

Asō launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2012, and ended it on February 26. Asō launched a four-panel sequel manga in Weekly Shonen Jump's 14th issue on March 5. Asō also published a one-shot manga in the first summer 2018 issue of Shueisha's Jump Giga magazine on May 25.
