Radiation House Manga's Live-Action TV Series Confirmed
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The first 2019 issue of Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine confirmed the live-action television series adaptation of Tomohiro Yokomaku and Taishi Mori's Radiation House manga on Wednesday. Amazon Japan previously listed the magazine with the cover showing the announcement.
This year's 24th issue of the magazine had teased in November that the manga would have an "important announcement" in the issue out on December 5.
The manga centers on the medical professionals in the radiology department of a hospital. For example, medical radiographers use X-rays and CT scans to probe the causes of diseases and uncover pathological changes, while radiologists read the results and offer diagnoses.
Yokomaku and Mori launched the manga in Grand Jump in October 2015. Shueisha published the manga's sixth compiled book volume on July 19.
