Koei Tecmo Games Co-Develops Fire Emblem: Three Houses Switch Game

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

The official Twitter account of Nintendo of America revealed on Wednesday that Koei Tecmo Games is co-developing its Fire Emblem: Three Houses Nintendo Switch game. The image for the Seasons of Warfare Edition of the game lists Koei Tecmo games as a co-developer with Nintendo and Intelligent Systems. The Seasons of Warfare Edition of the game will bundle an artbook, sound selection CD, steelbook case, and calendar.

Koei Tecmo Games, its Omega Force team, and its Team Ninja team also developed the Fire Emblem Warriors (Fire Emblem Musou) New Nintendo 3DS and Switch game, which launched in September 2017.

Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct presentation on Wednesday that the Fire Emblem: Three Houses game has been delayed from spring to July 26. Nintendo first announced in January 2017 that it was working on a Fire Emblem game for Switch. The game is the first Fire Emblem console game since 2007's Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

Intelligent Systems' first Fire Emblem game launched in 1990 and spawned a series of tactical role-playing games. The Fire Emblem Fates games, the latest new installments in the series, launched in Japan in June 2015 and in North America in February 2016.
