posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Rimukoro's Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san (Senko, the Always-Helpful Fox) manga revealed on Friday that the anime will have 12 episodes, and will ship on three home video releases in July, August, and September.

The show will premiere on April 10 at 10:30 p.m., before airing later on Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11. The show will stream in Japan on d Anime Store and AbemaTV.

Tomoaki Koshida (Zoku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru.) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo. Yoshiko Nakamura (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Tada Never Falls in Love) is in charge of series composition and is penning the scripts. Miwa Oshima (The Story of Saiunkoku, Koihime Musō, Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA) is designing the characters. Azumi Waki and Maaya Uchida will perform the show's opening theme song "Koyoi mofumofu!!," and Waki will perform the ending theme song Moffu Moffu de Yoinoja yo."

The "healing comedy" manga centers on Nakano, an employee of an exploitative "black" company, who meets a divine fox spirit named Senko. While she looks like a young girl, Senko is in fact 800 years old. She offers to spoil Nakano as much as possible, and begins looking after him.
