Trivia:

Even though the last canon episode of Naruto ended with chapter 244, the animators decided to start Shippuuden with a "preview" of what's to come by animating chapters 306-307 at the beginning of Shippuuden, and then go back to 245. Why? Because in Japan, it's expected that most, if not all, of the viewers read the manga, and so were itching to see Sasuke animated again, instead of waiting.

From episodes 24 to 27, they replaced the opening and ending with scenes from the new movie, like they did with the third movie. However, unlike the previous time they did this, they changed scenes with every episode.

Shippuden is canon, until episode 54, where they lengthened the gap between manga and anime, by adding a filler arc.

The first filler arc of Shippuden lasted from episode 54 to episode 72, when the canon Hidan and Kakuzu arc started.

During Ending Theme "BACCHIKOI!" by DEV PARADE you can see four "big" guys dancing dressed in four different shirts. They represent actual band members of DEV PARADE.

The second filler arc (which mixed canon material about Sanbi in with the filler material) lasted from episode 90 to episode 113, when the canon Search for Itachi arc started.

In ep 118, (at exactly 19:16) the ad poster for the 3rd Shippuden movie is posted on the wall.

In ep 189 the bar that Sakura goes to is called Cat's Eye. This is a reference to the anime of the same name.

In ep 271, at the 13:56 mark there is a poster for Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie, which is the sixth Shippuden film and ninth Naruto film overall.

The title for episode 1 is the same as chapter 245.

The title for episode 4 is the same as chapter 249.

In episode 67, halfway through, after one of the villains is killed by Yamato's wood, the scene returns to the village and a billboard with the newest Naruto movie: Bonds, is shown on the right hand side.

In episode 167, Shingo Yamashita animated his section in the beginning of the episode using Flash. He did key animation, in-between animation, and finishing. Overall, he contributed about 5,500 drawings for the first 7 or so minutes of the episode.

In episode 170 (3.47 min till 3.50 min) is on the wall a Naruto: The lost tower poster

In episode 183, among the crowd there is a man that resembles Haku

In episode 423, after the attack of Pain, Konohamaru takes Naruto to the hidden shelter. When they are there, you can see the movie posters of "The Last: Naruto the movie" and "Boruto: Naruto The Movie"
