Strangely enough, Kyouran Kazoku Nikki actually features a different ED scene/song depending on which TV station it's broadcasted on. This is somewhat unprecedented for anime. For example, TVK's broadcast features the song "Kyouran Senki ~Nichijou no Kami-sama~" 「狂乱戦記 ~日常ノ神サマ~」 by Kyouka's seiyuu, Fujimura Ayumi. TVQ's broadcast features "Appare Henka Ja." 「あっぱれ変化じゃ。」 by Gekka's seiyuu, Satou Rina. ATX's features Ginka's seiyuu, Fujita Yoshinori. From the 3rd episode onwards, the ED song is randomly selected on the Kyouran radio show, with a different ending on each station.
There are 8 different ending themes sung by each of 8 main characters. The order of ED scenes/songs broadcasted differs in each TV station.
Episode 5 features of a FF1 reference. Hyouka explains that he can fly thanks to a Levistone. The Levistone was the item that made the airship fly in FF1.
At episode 22 when Oasis assimilates with Ouka to make a giant sword it reminds of the anime Erementar Gerad
In episode 10, Do Gone's Gum Gum Arm is a reference to One Piece. His line "Uruchai Uruchai Uruchai" Is a reference to the parody shorts Shakugan no Shanatan. Rie Kugimiya, Who voiced Mujyakey Serpent in this episode, is the voice of Shana/Shanatan.
In Episode 18, members of the Midarezaki family work together to save a sick Ōka by shrinking themselves down to microbe size and entering his body; the entire sequence is a homage and parody of "Fantastic Voyage," a 1966 sci-fi film written by Harry Kleiner. Especially prominent elements include the method of entering via injection, evading white blood cells, the 6-minute time alert before they return to normal size, and retrieval through a drop of Ōka's tears.
