Plot Summary:
When Kaori was a toddler, she somehow ended up in the spirit realm, where she was adopted by a mysterious ayakashi man who runs a book rental shop. Now twenty, Kaori feels more spirit than human, but knows that she doesn't quite belong to either world. When a human boy enters the spirit world looking for a friend, Kaori takes it upon herself to try to show him that spirits aren't that bad, and in the process perhaps comes to understand her own position between the two realms.
