Trivia:

The word "Kabu" (カブ) in the title came from the Japanese transliteration of Piper PA-18 "Super Cub" (パイパー・スーパーカブ) piloted by the protagonist Isaki. Being one of the most successful bush planes renowned for its phenomenal short take-off and landing (STOL) performance, an upgraded Super Cub can take off from a 200-feet unpaved runway. More than 10,000 aircraft have been produced in over 40 years.
