AnoHana's Chō Heiwa Busters Secret Base Recreated

posted on by Egan Loo
Noitamina Shop to host diorama of anime's setting in Tokyo this summer

This summer, the Noitamina Shop in Tokyo's Shinjuku Parco Part 1 department store is recreating the secret base of "Chō Heiwa Busters," the childhood gathering of friends from the television anime Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai. (anohana). The anime's official Twitter account has been posting images from the construction of the life-size diorama.

The recreation is part of the pop-up anohana Shop which will be open from June 3 to July 7. It will display production designs and artwork from the anime, as well as sell related merchandise such as the Usamichi plush figure.

The story of the anime follows several childhood friends who try to reconnect in high school after drifting apart. Not only is the secret base a crucial element in the backstory, but it is also tied to the "secret base ~Kimi ga Kuretamono~" ending theme song. The anime premiered in Fuji TV's late-night Noitamina timeslot on April 14.
