Strike the Blood Hug Pillows That Talk to You

If you're beginning to realize that the hug pillow you're embracing isn't actually a Real Girl, new technology might help make the illusion a little easier to maintain. New hug pillow covers from Strike the Blood are now available from the online store Animedia Shop with AR (Augmented Reality) technology that allows them to speak.
To make full use of the pillow covers, customers must first download an app on their smartphones that can read the QR codes printed in an accompanying booklet, which then activate pre-recorded voice clips. So far, these "Hug Pillows Deluxe" are available as Sayaka and Yukina. However, the voice clips are only available for a limited amount of time.
Animedia Shop is also selling Strike the Blood cushions with bulging breasts, allowing fans of Asagi and Yukina to bury their heads in the characters' ample bosoms. These pillowcases likewise come with sound clips. These "Boob Cushions" are also available for the characters Kyōko and Likantz of Daimidaler the Sound Robot.
The Hug Pillows Deluxe cost 21,600 yen ($213), while the Boob Cushions cost 16,200 yen ($160).
