posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Singer Yun*chi, the artist behind Log Horizon's "Your song*" and "Wonderful Wonder World*", is releasing a new album of anime song covers on April 15. The singer released her first music video for the upcoming album, a cover of Cardcaptor Sakura's opening theme song "Catch You, Catch Me," on Friday. The video is directed by popular Niconico video director YumaSaito with illustrations by mirto.

The original track by Megumi Hinata, aka GUMI, was released on the first Cardcaptor Sakura soundtrack in 1998. Sakura Kinomoto's voice actress Sakura Tange, anisong singer Yoko Ishida, and Shōko Nakagawa have all previously covered the song.

The "Ani*yun~anime song cover~" includes "Koi no Uta" from the Tamako Love Story film, "Ojamajo Carnival!!" from Ojamajo Doremi, "Sakura Kiss" from Ouran High School Host Club, "Tenshi no Yubikiri" from His and Her Circumstances, "Viva Namida" from Space Dandy, and "Kimi ni Todoke" from Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You.
