Space Battleship Yamato's Wave Motion Gun Cameos in Avengers Assemble

Tim Eldred is a storyboard artist and animation director for popular American cartoons like Batman: The Brave and the Bold, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble. He also manages the Cosmo DNA website and Facebook page for Star Blazers/Space Battleship Yamato fans.

In the latest episode of Avengers Assemble titled "Avengers Disassembled," Eldred was able to crossover his two passions by sneaking in a Space Battleship Yamato gag. The scene sees a super-deformed Spider-Man control a powerful weapon that's very similar in design to the Wave Motion Gun.
