Rina Hidaka Plays Kantai Collection Arcade Before Launch This Month

Voice actress Rina Hidaka (Mutsuki, Yayoi, Mochizuki) tested out the Kantai Collection Arcade game ahead of its nationwide launch on April 26. The game was initially planned for release last summer but has faced continued delays. Throngs of fans came out to Osaka for a location test last month.
In the video, Hidaka shows off some of her characters that appear in the game, the room decorating feature, and then takes them out for battle.
Hidaka's fellow voice actresses Saki Fujita (Akagi) and Yuka Ōtsubo (Kitakami, Ooi) appeared in their own game test videos.
Kantai Collection Arcade cabinets utilize character cards which unlock battle scenes to show off their respective characters. Cards have been released ahead of the arcade game launch at test cabinets and special events. The card have, in turn, pulled in a nice profit for sellers using online auction websites.
