Yuuki Kaji Revisits His Bananya Role in New Commercials

Popular voice actor Yūki Kaji got in touch with his feline side last year as the lead in Bananya. The anime is about exactly what it sounds like: cats that live in bananas. The short anime series about the fruity felines tied into what was an already established merchandise line.
Kaji reunited with his kitty counterpart in the first ad to promote a talk show event with the voice actor that will be held on April 16.

Kaji's talk event will be held twice on April 16 in a banquet hall at Hotel New Hankyu Osaka. The Bananya anime's theme song performers Axell and Bananya himself will also appear at the event. The event will feature an Axell mini concert, signing event chosen by lottery, and an anime screening. The second collaboration ad will also screen at the event.
Leading up to Kaji's talk event, the "Bananya Fair" event is marking the third anniversary of the cat-themed neko mart shop at Osaka's Kiddyland Umeda store. The first part of the event was held from December 16 to December 31, and the second part will be held from April 1 to April 10. During the event, fans will receive one event lottery ticket for each 2,000 yen (about US$18) they spend on Bananya merchandise at neko mart. People who want to attend Kaji's talk event can turn in half of their tickets for a chance to be one of 400 people to attend the talk show. The neko mart store, Kiddyland website, and Bananya website will announce the lottery results on April 12.
