Shobitch Manga Creator Voices Guest Role in Anime Series

The official Twitter account for My Girlfriend is Shobitch revealed that original manga creator Namiru Matsumoto will make his voice acting debut as a guest character in the television anime. The account showed snaps of Matsumoto reading his lines in the studio.

We have good news for everyone ahead of the broadcast premiere next week! We have an amazing "big guest" participating in voice acting! The 530,721 excitement power goes beyond his back...what on Earth is Namiru Matsumoto-sensei starring as!? The answer is in the broadcast! Everyone, look forward to it!
Matsumoto also shared his own thoughts on Twitter. He apologized for the amount advice he needed to complete his lines and stated that "I think the amount of practice and thought that voice actors have to do is really amazing."
The show will premiere on AT-X on October 11 at 24:30 (effectively October 12 at 12:30 a.m.), and will also later air on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, Mie TV Broadcasting, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting, Gifu Broadcasting, and BS11.
The story centers on ordinary high school student Haruka Shinozaki. With nothing left to lose, Haruka confesses to beautiful, diligent class representative Akiho Kōsaka, and to his surprise she accepts. Kōsaka takes dating as seriously as she does everything else, but does not quite get it. She pragmatically suggests activities that are too sexual.
The anime will stream on Anime Strike in the United States and on select digital outlets in other territories. Sentai Filmworks is also planning a home video release.
