Witness the Future of Moving House in Anime Short Produced by Signal.MD

posted on by Kim Morrissy

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to move house in the future with robots and hover carriers? Art Corporation, a house-moving business in Japan, released an anime short dedicated to showing off this bright possible future.

Art Corporation posted the video on its YouTube channel on Thursday. The animated short tells the heartwarming story of a girl named Izumi moving house with the help of a friendly robot named A-bot. Izumi is voiced by Kana Hanazawa (Akane from Psycho-Pass, Kuroneko from Oreimo), while A-bot is voiced by Akira Ishida (Athrun from Gundam Seed, Kikuhiko from Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū).

The short was produced by Signal.MD. Motonobu Hori (Carole & Tuesday director, Napping Princess animation director and unit director) is credited as director, character designer, and animation director. Tetsuya Wakabayashi from Sherpa Creative Partner is credited as creative director and art director.

The video ends with the message "To Be Continued," inferring that there will be more installments to come showing off the future of moving house.
