Hana to Yume Magazine Celebrates 45th Anniversary With Playing Cards

A deck of playing cards is bundled with the latest issue of The Hana to Yume magazine, the publisher of the iconic shojo series Fruits Basket, Yona of the Dawn, and others. The cards celebrate Hana to Yume's 45th anniversary, and feature art from dozens of series, including classics like Please Save My Earth and Angel Sanctuary to current serializing titles like Namaiki Zakari. and Yona of the Dawn. Clear bookmarks featuring Hak from Yona of the Dawn and Hana from Takane & Hana are also bundled with the set. The issue went on sale on Saturday.

Additionally, manga artists Mizuho Kusanagi (Yona of the Dawn), Miyuki Mitsubachi (Namaiki Zakari.), Yuki Shiwasu (Takane & Hana), and Yu Tomofuji (Sacrificial Princess & the King of Beasts) will hold a signing session in the Akihabara Animate's annex building on August 31.

The first chapter of Natsuki Takaya's Fruits Basket: The Three Musketeers Arc also launched in the latest Hana to Yume issue. Yen Press is releasing the manga in English as a digital simulpub. The first chapter debuted in English on Tuesday.

For its 40th anniversary, Hana to Yume held a collaboration with Namco's indoor theme park Namja Town.
