NHK Macross Mega-Poll Crowns Macross F, Sheryl Nome

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Poll revealed winners in anime, character, mecha, and song categories

Television broadcaster NHK announced the final result of its giant Macross mega-poll on Saturday. The popularity poll let franchise fans select the best series, character, mecha, and song.

The voting tally found Macross Frontier (Macross F) and the most popular anime and its star Sheryl Nome won the most popular character category. Despite the series' and Sheryl's popularity, the top song went to "Ai Oboeteimasu ka" (Do You Remember Love?) by Mari Iijima. Iijima provided the voice of Lynn Minmay.
