Religious Anime Showing in LA

Golden Laws goes from top of Japanese Box office to LA theatre
"Ōgon no Hō - El Kantare no Rekishikan" or "The Golden Laws" was the top ranked movie in Japan during its first two weeks running. It was an idealogical movie based on the best selling book by Ryuho Okawa, founder and spiritual leader of the Institute for Research in Human Happiness (IRH). In it, a boy from the 25th century and a girl from the 30th century travel through time across thousands of years of history. Greece recalling of Hermes' battles, Moses' ten commandments, Jesus Christ's death and ressurrection, and the miracles of Shakyamuni (another name for the Buddha) and such, they are eyewitnesses to them all. Humanism's universality of love, honesty, and bravery are spoken of.
This isn't the first time a religious group's anime has had box office success, Kofuku no Kagaku (The Science of Happiness) made two anime films in '97 and '00, each of which performed relatively well at the Japanese box office.
