Anime Home Video Market Size

According to Home Media Retailing Magazine, Nielson Videoscan has reported that anime accounted for 1.4% of the 2004 North American video releases. The Independant portion of the market, in which anime is located, did $1.84 billion in sales in 2004. Comparatively, the largest single distributor, Warner Bros., did $4.79 billion in sales in 2004.
