Japanese Box Office, November 10–11: Precure 5 at #6

Yes! Precure 5: Kagami no Kuni no Miracle Daibōken!, the anime movie spinoff from the Yes! Precure 5 magical girl television series, debuted on Kogyo Tsushinsha's top ten chart for the Japanese box office in the November 10–11 weekend at #6 with the equivalent of US$1,562,646 (Box Office Mojo). Precure or Pretty Cure is the latest magical girl team franchise from Toei Animation (Sailor Moon, Ojamajo Doremi), and it had already spawned three earlier animated movies.

Takashi Yamazaki's Always Zoku San-chōme no Yūhi (Always: Sunset on Third Street 2) adaptation of Ryōhei Saigan's nostalgic Sanchoume no Yuuhi - Yuuyake no Uta manga about life after World War II, stayed at #2. It added US$3,987,024 to its running total of US$13,629,210. Takashi Miike's Crows Zero prequel to Yukihiko Tsutsumi's Crows school brawl manga dropped from #4 to #5 in its third weekend with US$1,951,482 in sales. It has earned US$13,594,213 to date.
