Ashita no Joe's Chiba Draws Akai Mushi One-Shot Manga

First new manga from acclaimed manga creator in four and a half years
Acclaimed sports manga creator Tetsuya Chiba (Ashita no Joe) will draw a new manga for the first time in four and a half years. The special one-shot Akai Mushi manga was announced in the current issue (released on May 10) of Shogakukan's Big Comic magazine, and it will appear in the issue that will ship on May 24. The manga special will help commemorate the magazine's 40th anniversary.
Chiba last published a new manga in 2003, but the 69-year-old has been keeping himself busy as a professor in Bunsei University of Art's manga major since 2005.
