Seven Seas publishes monster-hunting story in North America

Atsushi Suzumi has ended his Venus Versus Virus manga in the September issue of ASCII Media Works' Monthly Dengeki Daioh magazine on Saturday. The manga centers on a schoolgirl named Sumire who joins a monster hunter named Lucia in ridding the world of malevolent ghosts known as "Viruses." Suzumi had launched the manga in MediaWorks' defunct Monthly Dengeki Comic Gao! magazine in 2005, and seven compiled volumes have been published so far. Seven Seas Entertainment will publish the fifth volume of the manga in North America in October, and ADV Films released the 2007 television anime adaptation.
