Digital Manga Launches emanga Beta Rental Site (Updated)

The North American publisher Digital Manga has announced that it launched the beta version of the emanga.com website for online manga rentals. Readers can log into the Flash-based site to read free samples or "rent" full volumes to a limited time (currently 72 hours) online. If a reader rent the same volume for a second time, he or she can read that volume with no time restrictions. An Internet connection and Adobe Flash Player is required to read the manga at any time.
The site currently has ten titles, including Tatsumi Kaiya's Love Training, Kaname Itsuki's Lost Boys, Yuno Ogami's L'Etoile Solitaire, and three other boys-love titles. The first 100 people to register for the site each receive 400 points for use on the site. (1,000 points is the equivalent of US$10.)
