Manga Editor/Translator Ed Chavez Moves to Vertical

Manga editor and translator Ed Chavez has confirmed that he began working for the New York City-based manga publisher Vertical last week. In addition to writing about manga in various publications and his own MangaCast website, he had been freelancing for CMX Manga, Seven Seas Entertainment, and other American publishers. Notably, he had been freelancing directly for Kodansha, a Japanese publisher that made plans to establish a manga publishing foothold in New York.
