Animelo Holds 1st Overseas Live Concert in Shanghai

Animelo Summer Live, Japan's largest live concert event devoted to anime songs, has announced that it will be held at Saitama Super Arena (just northwest of Tokyo) on August 28 and 29 this year. Also this year, Animelo will go overseas for the first time with "Animelo Summer Live in Shanghai" in late November. The Shanghai event's artist lineup has not been announced yet, but its venue can hold 10,000 people.
"Animelo Summer Live 2010 -evolution-" is the sixth incarnation of the event. The official website has revealed the partial artist lineup for the August 28 concert:

- JAM Project
- Sphere (Minako Kotobuki, Ayahi Takagaki, Haruka Tomatsu, Aki Toyosaki)

The partial artist lineup for the August 29 concert is as follows:
In addition to November's "Animelo Summer Live in Shanghai" spinoff event, there will also be an "Ani-Summer Girls Night" spinoff event in Tokyo and Osaka in late October and early November. The event will be limited to female artists and 2,000 to 3,000 female attendees.
