K-ON sells 30,000; Gundam UC, Conan, Amagami, Koe de Oshigoto! also in top 15

The K-ON anime franchise has sold over 500,000 Blu-ray Discs and DVDs as of November 21. Specifically, the franchise has moved 424,000 Blu-ray volumes and 81,000 DVD volumes. In the five days since it officially shipped on November 17, the fifth volume of the second television anime series, K-ON!!, sold 30,000 copies (rounded to the nearest thousand) on Blu-ray and 4,106 copies on DVD. That is enough to rank this volume at #2 and #14 on Oricon's overall weekly Blu-ray and DVD sales charts, respectively.

[There are gaps in the chart above because non-animated Blu-ray Disc releases are not included. SoundScan Japan's methods of surveying home video sales are different from those of the competing firm Oricon, which often lead to differing results between the two. Neither firm directly posts more data for weekly sales than what is listed here. Any purportedly additional data comes from unverified, anonymous sources.]
