Raiden-18 Manga Chapters by FMA's Arakawa Put on Web

posted on by Egan Loo
2 chapters of Hiromu Arakawa's comedy ran in Sunday GX in 2005; 3rd chapter this month

Club Sunday, the free manga site of the Japanese publisher Shogakukan, will be hosting the first two chapters of the Raiden-18 manga from Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist, Jyūshin Enbu - Hero Tales). The first chapter already went online on Tuesday and will stay online until February 14. Club Sunday will start hosting the second chapter on December 21. These chapters have not been released in print or online since their original run in Shogakukan's Sunday GX magazine five years ago.

The comedy story revolves around Dr. Tachibana, a mad scientist who assembles a synthetic human named Raiden 18-gō from corpses and brings it to life. The first chapter had originally run in Sunday GX in July of 2005, and the second had run in the same magazine in December of that year. Five years later, the third chapter will debut in Sunday GX's January issue this Saturday. Arakawa finished Fullmetal Alchemist in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine this past June.
