Spelunker Sensei, Bunny Drop Promo Videos Streamed

The website for Enterbrain's Weekly Famitsu magazine began streaming two promotional videos for the Flash anime DVD based on the online four-panel manga Spelunker Sensei (Spelunker is a Teacher) on Saturday. The manga itself is based on Irem Software Engineering's Spelunker action game franchise. Tomokazu Sugita stars as the title character, the world's most reckless explorer who becomes a high school teacher. The 30-minute anime will ship on March 16.
The official website for the live-action film adaptation of Yumi Unita's Bunny Drop (Usagi Drop) manga is now streaming a teaser trailer. In the manga, 30-year-old bachelor Daikichi comes home from his grandfather's funeral to discover a little girl named Rin in his garden. Rin is the 6-year-old illegitimate daughter of Daikichi's grandfather, and Daikichi decides to take her in when no one in the family accepts the responsibility.
The film will open in Japan on August 20. Yen Press will publish the third manga volume in North America in March, and Production I.G is producing a television anime version of the manga for Fuji TV's late-night timeslot Noitamina in July.
