160,000 Came to Comic Market 80's 1st Day Despite Heat

An estimated 160,000 people came to the first day of this year's Comic Market 80 event in Tokyo on Friday. That is about 10,000 less people than last summer's Comic Market 78's attendance on its first day. Temperatures outside the Tokyo Big Sight event center rose to 35°C (about 95°F), a record for Comic Market.
