JManga Site Launches with Works Never Printed in U.S.

1st Macross F works in U.S., Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru, Crime and Punishment

JManga, a platform for reading legal manga online, launched in the United States on Wednesday with titles that have not been published in this country before. Among the new titles are the first listing of Macross Frontier material in the United States, the manga Sore de mo Machi wa Mawatteiru, and Crime and Punishment (Naoyuki Ochiai's re-imagining of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's novel classic that is inspiring an upcoming live-action film).

JManga aims to update its catalog every Tuesday to increase it "to a few thousand titles within the next year and onto 10,000 by 2013." The following titles are listed, but not all are currently available for purchase.

  • Joshi Kōsei (1) by Towa Oshima
  • JUDAS (1-5) by Suu Minazuki
