Hata: Hayate the Combat Butler Manga Is About 60% Done

Manga creator Kenjirō Hata reported on Tuesday that his Hayate the Combat Butler series might be about 60% complete. Hata was responding to a Twitter follower who asked about how far the manga is into its story.

He had reported last week that the manga would go on hiatus until this year's 13th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine, which will ship on February 29, due to a "task" he has to do. He clarified on his Twitter account that the hiatus is not due to illness or exhaustion.
