Sankarea Zombie Comedy Manga to Bundle Unaired Anime

Kodansha's Book Club website announced that the sixth and seventh limited-edition volumes of Mitsuru Hattori's Sankarea manga will bundle original anime DVDs on June 8 and November 9, respectively. Both DVDs will contain original stories that were created by Hattori and that cannot be seen on television, although Noboru Takagi (the series script editor of the television anime) is writing the actual scripts.
The original anime DVD bundled with the sixth manga volume will depict another encounter that the lead characters Rea and Chihiro had before the main story. The two happened to visit the same public bath one day.
The original anime DVDs' main staff and cast members come from the television anime; Mamoru Hatakeyama is directing the stories at Studio DEEN with character designer Kyuuta Sakai.
