K-ON Manga's Last Volumes Slated for September, October

The final volumes for the college and high school editions of kakifly's K-ON! manga will hit shelves in September and October, respectively.
The manga will end in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine on June 28. Since April of 2011, the high school edition in this magazine has been following Azusa, Ui, Jun, and the other characters who are still in high school after the other characters graduated. Creator kakifly simultaneously drew the college edition following Yui and the other characters in their college years, but that edition ended in Manga Time Kirara magazine (pictured right) on Friday.
The four-panel comedy manga began with a group of high school girls who form an afterschool rock band. The manga had ended its first run in September 2010. Yen Press began publishing the manga in North America in November 2010.
