In-Development Ninja Scroll Burst Anime's Teaser Streamed by Madhouse

3-episode short animation's official release "still under consideration"
The anime Studio Madhouse streamed a teaser trailer for its new in-development Ninja Scroll anime, Ninja Scroll Burst, on Wednesday. The trailer features Jubei fighting a variety of new ninja. The "3-episode short animation" was conceived as a challenge between director Yoshiaki Kawajiri and Madhouse.
The trailer originally premiered at Sakura-Con during director Yoshiaki Kawajiri and character designer Yutaka Minowa's Ninja Scroll panel in April.
An official release of Ninja Scroll Burst "is still under consideration." Masao Maruyama, the co-founder of the Madhouse anime studio, had revealed at his Otakon 2008 panel that development on the project was still ongoing but required a script acceptable to both himself and Kawajiri.
