The anime production company Aniplex of America announced at its panel at Otakon on Saturday that it will release the Durarara!! television anime series in a "Limited-Edition Blu-Ray Lunch Box Set." The company will release the series on October 30 in a five-disc set that will include a double-sided poster and other unspecified extras. Pre-orders for the series will start on July 30, and the company will only release a limited amount of sets.

The company previously released the series with an English dub on DVD in three box sets in 2011. The Durarara!! anime adapts Ryohgo Narita's "high-tension suspense action" light novels of the same name. After launching his earlier Baccano! light novel series, Narita set the "warped adolescent fantasy romance" of Durarara!! in a rowdy version of Tokyo's Ikebukuro neighborhood in 2004. The Japanese Blu-ray Disc Box of the anime adaptation shipped in May with an English dub and English subtitles.

The company also revealed that it will stream the Bakemonogatari television anime series. The stream will be the original 12-episode television broadcast of the series. The company will release more details on the stream at a later date. The company revealed in May that it will release Bakemonogatari on Blu-ray Disc only this fall in North America. The release will include English and Japanese subtitles, and dialogue and screen text.

The anime series adapts NisiOisin's Bakemonogatari light novels. The short stories in NisiOisin's two volumes of Bakemonogatari deal with a high school boy named Koyomi Araragi and the strange students he encounters. ("Bakemonogatari" is a wordplay on the Japanese term bakemono for supernatural creatures and the term monogatari for stories.) The series originally aired in Japan in 2009.

Additionally, Aniplex of America also announced that Japanese singer LiSA's opening single for the Sword Art Online television anime series, "Crossing Field," will be released in the United States in three different versions: a regular edition, a limited edition, and an anime edition. The company previously released four of her albums physically and digitally.

Update: Additional details added for Durarara!! Blu-ray Disc release.

Update 2: Aniplex of America additionally confirmed additional voice cast members for the Blue Exorcist English dub. Christine Marie Cabanos will voice Shimei Moriyama, and Kyle Hebert will voice Ryuji Suguro.
