From Up on Poppy Hill's English Dub Writer Revealed (Updated)

Studio Ghibli revealed on Friday that Karey Kirkpatrick (The Rescuers Down Under, Chicken Run, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) is writing the English dub of From Up On Poppy Hill. According to Ghibli, the dubbing sessions have ended as of Friday.
North American distributor GKIDS acquired the rights to this film, and it plans to release From Up On Poppy Hill in American theaters next March after qualifying it for Oscar consideration. Madman Entertainment will present the film as part of its Reel Anime 2012 series in Australian theaters from September 13 to September 26.
Update: Studio Ghibli has confirmed with ANN that Karey Kirkpatrick is the only writer for the English dub for the From Up On Poppy Hill film.
