Galilei Donna Anime's 1st Promo Video, 3rd TV Ad Posted

Rumi Ookubo, Kei Shindō, Marina Inoue, Hiroshi Kamiya lead cast

The official YouTube channel for Fuji TV's late-night Noitamina programming block began streaming the third television commercial on Thursday for the Galilei Donna television anime series.

(Note: the second half of this video is a commercial for Samurai Flamenco)

Additionally, the official website for Galilei Donna updated to announce the anime's main cast and is streaming the first promotional video. The video previews Negoto's opening theme song "Synchromanica" and earthmind's ending theme song "Innocent."

The show's main cast is as follows:


Rina Hidaka as Hozuki Ferrari: The 13-year-old youngest Ferrari sister and a junior high school student. Even if she tries something she doesn't keep at it for very long, but science is her only strong point. She is reserved and quiet, but in truth she is most likely to take action of the three sisters.


Rumi Ookubo as Kazuki Ferrari: The 17-year-old middle Ferrari sister. She is the cool type who doesn't show her emotions on the surface. She has strong physical abilities and and Shorinji Kempo is her strong point, but she is also quite timid and prone to worrying.


Kei Shindō as Hazuki Ferrari: The 20-year-old eldest Ferrari sister. She is very frank and immediately shows on her face and says whatever she is thinking. She is a college student studying law and her dream is to become a lawyer. She behaves wildly, and she has an amazing verbal attack power, but she has very strong feelings of wanting to protect her sisters.


Marina Inoue as Anna Hendrix: 24 years old. A publishing editor. A woman who is enchanted by the things Galileo Galilei left behind and chases their puzzles. She is a self-described "Galileo Maniac," and her extensive knowledge about Galileo is of great help to the three sisters.


Taiten Kusunoki as Roberto Materazzi: 33 years old. The eldest son of the chief executive of the world-famous company "Adonimoon Company." A cruel person who who doesn't care about others lives as long as he accomplishes his goals.


Hiroshi Kamiya as Cicinho: 28 years old. The young leader of the air pirate troupe "Black Ganymede Troupe." As the charismatic boss of an outlaw group that is the subject of an international police search, he has a sharp mind, strong physical abilities, and is a good man.


Rikiya Koyama as Geshio Ferrari: 55 years old. A Japanese man who is the father of the three sisters. An aviation and space engineer who is a professor at a university.


Houko Kuwashima as Sylvia Ferrari: 43 years old. The mother of the three sisters who is an engineer and Galileo's descendant. She is very proud of her heritage and tries to get her daughters to have that same pride, but her efforts have the opposite effect on the three girls.

The "battle action adventure" story takes place in the year 2061 AD, where global warming is a thing of the past and the early days of a glacial era now cover the entire world. Three descendents of Galileo living in Tuscany, Italy—Hozuki Ferrari, Hazuki Ferrari, and Kazuki Ferrari—are suddenly attacked by a mysterious organization and ultimately end up on international wanted lists. The organization's purpose is something called "Galileo Tezoro." With no clue what is going on, the three sisters must join forces to overcome the crisis, but their personalities are too different, making this no easy task.

Yasuomi Umetsu (Robot Carnival, Mezzo, Kite) is directing Galilei Donna at A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Silver Spoon), and Shingo Adachi (Working!!, Sword Art Online) is designing the characters. Hideyuki Kurata,Touko Machida, Jun Kumagai, Atsushi Oka are writing the scripts.

The anime will air for a quarter of a year, and will premiere on October 10.
