Minnesota's Anime Detour announced on Wednesday that it will host manga creator Arina Tanemura (Full Moon O Sagashite, Phantom Thief Jeanne, The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross) and scriptwriter Dai Satō (Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) as guests of honor.

Tanemura debuted in 1996 with the one-shot story "2-banme no Koi no Katachi" and her first series, I.O.N, started a year later. Tanemura is currently serializing the 31 Ai Dream romance manga in Hakusensha's Melody magazine and Neko to Watashi no Kinyōbi (The Cat's and My Friday) manga in Shueisha's Margaret shōjo magazine.

Viz Media publishes Tanemura's Sakura Hime and most of her other titles such as Full Moon O Sagashite, The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross, Time Stranger Kyoko, and I.O.N. The publisher added her Phantom Thief Jeanne manga last year.

Sato's credits range from Cowboy Bebop to the live-action Casshern film. He also worked on Ergo Proxy, Eureka Seven, Freedom, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Samurai Champloo, Wolf's Rain, and Eden of the East. Sato co-wrote "The Package" segment of Halo Legends.

Sato is currently contributing scripts for Shinichiro Watanabe's science-fiction comedy anime Space Dandy.

Anime Detour will run from April 4 to 6 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota.
