Hyrule Warriors Wii U Game Adds Twilight Princess' Agitha, Zant

New character Lana the sorceress, Twilight Field stage, Hookshot that can take down moon from Majora's Mask also added

The official website for the Zelda Musō (Hyrule Warriors) Wii U video game unveiled three new characters for the game on Friday.

New, original character Lana will join the game as an ally of Link's. She is a powerful sorceress, and also is a very honest girl who tries her best at everything she does. She is on a mission to stop the witch Shia, and seems to have a connection with her, but refuses to say anything about it. Her weapon is a Grimoire, and she is known for her active fighting style in which she charges head first into the enemy lines.

Ageha (lit. swallowtail butterfly), also known as Agitha outside of Japan, returns from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. She wandered into the world of Hyrule Warriors from another world when she was searching for golden bugs. When she was about to be attacked by monsters, she was saved by Lana, and Ageha continues to follow her. She has a very spacey personality, and does everything at her own pace. She never lets her smile come off. Her weapon is her parasol, but she can also call giant beetles to do her bidding, and she can also ride on giant butterflies.

On the side of Shia, the evil witch, Zant from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess returns. He was summoned to the world of Hyrule Warriors by Shia, who has opened the Door of Reincarnation. Although he appears to be fairly calm and collected, his real personality is extremely hysteric. His weapons are blades attatched to both of his hands, which he whips around, but he can also use very powerful magic.

The website also lists that the game will feature a "Twilight Field" stage from Twilight Princess. The game will also include items such as bombs and the Hookshot, which can even let players pull down the moon from Majora's Mask.

The website also unveiled a new key visual for the game (seen below):

The game is slated to ship on September 26 in North America and August 14 in Japan. The game will ship in Japan in three versions: A normal version for 7,389 yen (about US$74), a premium box containing an official book of art and settings, a Triforce alarm clock, a set of three types of "Courage" in-game costumes, and a set of three "Wisdom" in-game costumes for the price of 10,800 yen (about US$108), and a Treasure Box containing all of the contents of the premium box, as well as two in-game "Power" costumes", a real "Scarf of Courage," and a treasure box-styled jewelry box that makes sounds.
