Dark Horse Adds Tony Takezaki's Neon Genesis Evangelion Manga Volume

North American publisher Dark Horse Comics announced during its Neon Genesis Evangelion panel at Anime Expo on Sunday that it has licensed the Tony Takezaki's Neon Genesis Evangelion one-volume parody manga. The book spoofs Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's Neon Genesis Evangelion manga. Takezaki contributed stories to the Neon Genesis Evangelion: Comic Tribute, which was also released by Dark Horse last year.
The company has released the proper Evangelion manga by Sadamoto, as well as the Neon Genesis Evangelion: Campus Apocalypse, Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Shinji Ikari Detective Diary, and Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Shinji Ikari Raising Project spinoff manga.
Takezaki previously spoofed the Gundam franchise in his Tony Takezaki no Gundam Manga. He is also the creator behind Geno Cyber and the A.D. Police manga series.
