3 Anime by Persona 4, Elfen Lied, Attack on Titan Helmers Teased in Video

posted on by Kyle Cardine

The official website for Fuji TV's programming block Noitamina began streaming a video for three new series that are set to premiere on the programming block in 2015.

The first series featured, Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace (Mysterious Stories of Ranpo: Game of Laplace), is an anime inspired by late author Edogawa Ranpo's works. The series is being produced for the 50th anniversary since Edogawa's passing. Edogawa (real name Tarō Hirai) was a celebrated Japanese author whose works include many mystery novels, such as Black Lizard, The Devil's CREST, and Dark Star. He passed away in 1965 at the age of 70.

The video's text reads:

The duplicate world is a dream. The night dream is an illusion.

So you think this thing called reality is so romantic?

Seiji Kishi (Persona 4, Devil Survivor 2) will direct the anime at Lerche (Re:␣Hamatora, Assassination Classroom) from scripts by Makoto Uezu (Yumeria, Yuki Yuna Is a Hero).

The second series featured, Subete ga F ni Naru (Everything Becomes F, with the subtitle 'The Perfect Insider'), is an anime adaptation of Hiroshi Mori's novel. The 1996 novel is the first installment in Mori's S&M series of novels. A live-action television drama adaptation of the novel is currently broadcasting on the Fuji TV channel.

The video teases the story:

"Among numbers, only 7 is by itself."
Good and Evil
True and Fake
Light and Dark
People are usually between these conceptual extremes
I try to find my own place
I believe there is one place I belong
To seek the middle ground and compromise —
A genius does not do that
Since it's possible to exist simultaneously in the two extremes
Everything Becomes F

Mamoru Kanbe (Elfen Lied, I''s Pure) is directing the anime at A-1 Pictures (The IDOLM@STER, Persona 4 the Golden Animation).

The third series featured, Kōtetsujō no Kabaneri (Knocking on the Walls of the Armored Fortress), is a new original animation project from director Tetsuro Araki and Wit Studio, the team responsible for Attack on Titan. Code Geass creator Ichiro Okouchi is writing the scripts.
