Mayuka Nomura, Haruka Yamazaki, Sakura Nakamura Join Monster Musume TV Anime's Cast

The July issue of Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Ryū magazine will announce additional cast members and the theme song artists for the TV anime adaptation of the Monster Musume (Monster Musume no Iru Nichijō or Everyday Life with Monster Girls) manga on Tuesday.

Mayuka Nomura (Paradise of Innocence's Konomi, Rescue Me!'s Sayaka Shimizu) will play Suu, Haruka Yamazaki (Vividred Operation's Mizuha Amagi, High School DxD's Aika Kiryu) will play Melo, and Sakura Nakamura (Girls und Panzer's Akebi Sasaki, Vividred Operation's Mashiro Isshiki) will play Rachnera.

Previously revealed cast members include

• Sora Amamiya as Miia
• Ari Ozawa as Papi
• Natsuki Aikawa as Centorea

These six main cast members will perform the opening theme song "Saikōsoku Fall in Love" (Highest Speed Fall in Love). Additionally, "Smith with MON" — a unit made up of the voice actresses for Ms. Smith, Manako, Tionishia, Zombina, and Doppel — will perform the ending theme song "Hey! Smith!!" The singles for each of the theme songs will ship in Japan on August 19, and they will both retail for 1,200 yen (about US$10).

The magazine also revealed a new key visual.

Tatsuya Yoshihara (Muromi-san, Yatterman Night) will direct the anime, with series composition and scripting by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Miss Monochrome). Takaya Sunagawa (Yozakura Quartet ~Tsuki ni Naku~) will serve as character designer and animation director. Shunji Akasaka (key animator for Tamayura - More Aggressive, Cardfight!! Vanguard) will serve as chief animation director and sub-character designer. manzo and Hiroaki Tsutsumi are composing the music for the series. Lerche x Seva is handling the show's animation.

The series is set to debut in July, and will air on Tokyo MX TV, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11, and AT-X.

Okayado launched the manga in Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Ryū magazine in 2012. Seven Seas Entertainment published the sixth compiled volume in North America in March, and it describes the story:

A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu's job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life.

Unfortunately for Kurusu, Miia is undeniably sexy, and the law against interspecies breeding is very strict. Even worse, when a ravishing centaur girl and a flirtatious harpy move in, what's a full-blooded teenage human with raging hormones to do?!

The series is often listed on The New York Times manga best-seller list. The manga's official Japanese website launched a campaign last September, asking fans to weigh in with their opinions on an anime adaptation over Twitter.
