Naruto SUN Storm 4's New Trailer Shows Western Delay, Generational Battles

February 9 date, Boruto vs. Naruto, Sarada vs. Sasuke in subtitled trailer

Bandai Namco Entertainment debuted a new English-subtitled trailer for its Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 game at Gamescom 2015 this week. The trailer confirms that the game has been delayed in North America to February 9, 2016; Japan is also delaying the game until February 4.

The trailer previews battles between generations as Boruto fights Naruto and Sarada fights Sasuke. In North America, Boruto and Sarada will be pre-order bonuses along with the Kakashi Sixth Hokage costume from The Last -Naruto the Movie-. Naruto and Sasuke ("+ combination secret technique") from The Last -Naruto the Movie- are the early access bonuses along with costumes for Sakura and Hinata from the same movie.

Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will feature the largest number of fighters in the series history. That roster includes characters from the fight between Hashirama and Madara, as well as characters from The Last -Naruto the Movie-. The game will also recreate the Shinobi World War.

Those who buy the game in Japan on its initial release (or pre-order the game in America and Europe) will receive Boruto and Sarada — the stars of Boruto -Naruto the Movie- — as playable characters. The initial release will also include The Sixth Hokage costume for Kakashi and The Last -Naruto the Movie- costumes for Sakura and Hinata.

Bandai Namco Entertainment will release the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) in the West. The Japanese release will also ship for PlayStation 4, but no PC or Xbox One release has been confirmed for that region.
