Final Fantasy V Heads to PC Via Steam
posted on by Karen Ressler
Square Enix announced on Thursday that it will release Final Fantasy V on PC via Steam on September 24. The company began streaming a trailer introducing the characters and job classes.
The PC version includes the four additional job classes—gladiator, cannoneer, oracle, and necromancer—"The Sealed Temple" dungeon, and optional boss Enuo, designed by Tetsuya Nomura, from the game's 2006 Game Boy Advance port. The game features graphics remastered by character designer Kazuko Shibuya and reworked controls.
Update: All the additional features, not just "The Sealed Temple" dungeon, are from the 2006 GBA version. The PC version is a port of the iOS and Android version that was released in 2013. Thanks, Dessa.
