VisualArt's to Release Key's Harmonia Visual Novel on Steam This Year

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
VisualArt's will post game on Steam Greenlight on Friday

Visual novel publisher VisualArt's confirmed on its Facebook page on Tuesday that it will publish its Key brand's visual novel Harmonia on Steam this year. It will post the game on the Steam Greenlight program on Friday. On Steam Greenlight, developers advertise their game or software, and community support decides which titles will be selected for distribution.

The story of the game begins when a mechanical boy named Rei wakes up from his slumber in a facility without emotional programming. Wanting to get closer to humans, he wanders the world. There, he meets a girl who sings named Shiona. She takes him into her home, and the needle of Rei's clock begins to move. The video also previews the character Tipi, a girl from the library.

Kai (Clannad) is planning the game, and Itaru Hinoue (Air, Clannad, Little Busters!) is drawing the original art. Shinji Orito (Air, Clannad, Little Busters!) is scoring the music. Ayaka Kitazawa sings the opening song "Todoketai Melody," while Haruka Shimotsuki sings the ending theme song "Towa no Hoshi e."

North American visual novel distributor Sekai Project will release the full-voice version of Key's Clannad visual novel on the PC in an as-yet unspecified date.
